ICSE or Indian Certificate of Secondary Education examination offers courses in compliance with all the different recommendations provided in NEP or New Education Policy of 1986. ICSE is meant to make sure that everyone gets proper general education. Let us look at the regulations to be followed for ICSE affiliation by ICSE schools in Bangalore.
Regulations for ICSE Affiliation
NOC
It is necessary for a school (such as RBIA Bangalore) to get a NOC or No Objection Certificate from concerned state government. Additionally, it should be mentioned in the NOC that Government is granting affiliation to ICSE without any objection and such affiliation will be applicable from preschool and up to Class X or Class XII.
Registration
It is a requirement that the school should be operated by a registered company/trust/society that is registered according to rules laid out in Companies Act, 1956. In addition, the main purpose of this company/trust/society should be educational.
Governing Body
The school applying for ICSE affiliation should have a well-constituted managing committee and a governing body.
Medium of Instructions
English should be the medium of instruction at Best ICSE schools in Bangalore and the schools should follow scheme which has been described by the council.
Qualification of Staff
The Council has provided some guidelines with respect to training and qualification school staff should have and schools need to follow those guidelines. Moreover, staff should get salaries similar to what staff in government school gets.
Adequate Facilities
There should be adequate number of facilities and fields for students to take part in co-curricular as well as extracurricular activities. ICSE also wants that schools should give special attention to music, art, and physical education.
Equipment and Apparatus
ICSE schools in Bangalore must have needed equipment and apparatus for students to carry out practical work. Additionally, if technical or home science subjects are taught then the apparatus should be council approved.
